Feeding the Birds

Tufted Titmouse

This Saturday we drove up to Pinery Provincial Park north of Sarnia.  It was snowing as we drove up but the sun came out when we arrived.  There is a bird feeding station at the visitors  centre but you can't get too close to the feeders there.  We drove up to parking area 9 and put some peanuts and sunflower seeds out on the picnic table.  Within minutes we had hungry chickadees, nuthatches and titmouses flying about.  It is really an experience to have them eat out of your hand.
