Winter Waterfowl

Now that the St. Clair River is mostly frozen the ducks that winter around here have a hard time finding open water.  These photos were taken out of my car window. These diving ducks are thriving on 6 inch fish.  If one duck catches a fish the others around it want to share.  Even the Mute Swans chase the ducks to see if they might get a piece.
