Birds of Prey Demonstration

Wings of Spring At Rondeau Park hosted a Birds of Prey Demonstration. Wings of Spring welcomes back the Ontario Falconry Centre who will be putting on a Bird of Prey show at 1.00pm on both days of the festival. Waterfowl viewing stations are set up around the Park and there will be a BBQ down at the Visitor Centre. Youngsters can learn some crafts including birdhouse building and local artisans will display and sell their wares in the Visitors’ Centre.

Early Tundra Swans

Tundra Swans back in March.  The swans are very early this year with temperatures this month several degrees above normal.  No much snow this year so the bog at the Pinery is very dry.  We drove to Aylmer Ontario where about 4000 had already arrived.
